Do you make sure you get your 10 steps everyday?

I have went the past 9 days with well over 10k each day. However, today just isn't going too well. It is 7pm and I am only at 2000 (yes a lazy day). Do you guys ever go once or twice a week with so little steps and make sure to stick with your 10k on the other days?

I always have one or two days I don't make 10,000 steps and actually have under 5000 steps. Days I run no problem, but strength days I'm lucky to make 4000 steps. Even before running or strength there were always one or two days with a low count.0

Wow I never even thought of that that's a good idea! Thanks for the links!

I don't. I workout enough that it's not a big deal to me. When I first got my Fitbit I was religious about trying to hit my goal, which was easy bc I was doing cardio that allowed me to wear the tracker. But now that I pole, I make sure I take it off bc I don't want it to scratch my pole, so I'm not getting any of he steps for that workout. I use my Vivofit wig HR strap for that workout.0

I don't count steps, don't own a step counter.
How many steps I take in a day is unimportant to me

even though I don't believe in the 10000 step myth, I average over 13000 steps a day, but my low has been 300 and high 28000. I usually get my 10000 during my cardio workout. Monday was a 2400 step day, but I have 73000 for the week with only 3 days working out0

I try to get over 10k most days, as I need to stay active throughout the day, not just for part of the day. However, usually there will be 1-2 days a week that I don't get there.0

Yes, I pretty much always get my 10,000 steps in. I have had my fit but for 4 weeks, I have only had 3 days that I haven't done over 10,000 and 2 of those were Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I go out for a walk to hit my step goals. Aiming for 100,000 this week and we'll on track for it.0

I don't make sure I do unless I'm really close at the end of the day, then I'll knock the last few out before I hit the sack. I usually hit 10K every day at work and hardly ever do on days off. It used to bother me a little but now I don't care.0

It's a framework for me, I'm never all that worked up about it. On training days it's easy, other days I'm not going to go out of my way.
Today I'll get 30k, probably tomorrow as well. Yesterday was only 8k.0 -
My goal is 15k steps per day & most days I meet or surpass that number. There are some days I don't but I don't sweat it, I exercise regularly.0

I don't really count my steps. I wore a step counter one day just because I was curious how many I did since I'm on my feet a lot at work. Went to the gym for cardio that day and went to work overnight. Ended up with 27000 steps for that day. So I don't tend to worry about getting steps in.0

I wear my fitbit just to see how many steps I took but I am not worried if I dont get them all in either. Its just another tracking tool for me.0
