Has any members lost weight drinking water, pop, milk, tea, coffee, juice and other drinks. I don't like drinking only water. Thanks

I drank diet soda, plant milk, tea, coffee, and (more occasionally) juice while losing weight. You can lose weight while drinking anything. Just make sure to log the calories (if there are any).

I drank water mostly, but I also drink Diamond Blue Almond Milk (unsweetened) in my smoothies, and coffee or unsweetened tea with the stevia sweetener. But yeah, be sure to log your calories, if any.

I thought this was going to be about alcohol... in any case, just be sure to log the calories and there's no reason why you shouldn't. I don't log coffee or tea since I drink both black so the calories are negligible, but if you're putting milk or cream or sugar, then certainly log it. Anything with lots of sugar - pop (not diet), juice, etc. definitely log as well. I personally don't drink those things because I'd rather eat my calories, but that's my personal preference. If you enjoy these things, then go ahead and drink them, but log them.

I drink water, and I have a homemade latte or 2 a day. Juice and pop I don't have often, I've never been a big fan. Liquor on occasion is fine too. As long as you accurately log calories you'll be fine.

I drink a lot of black coffee and hot tea. The trick with either of those is quality of the product.

I never used to be a hot tea drinker until I started trying different ones. My favorites are cinnamon or chai spice (not the drink mix) flavored teabags when I can find some that have nothing sweet added (hard to do sometimes) and I love the mango black tea from Trader Joe's. 2 bucks for 20 teabags is a good price too.

I drink some diet Dr pepper but I cut back my consumption of diet drinks early last year because I realized I was drinking too much of it and it bloats me.

I agree with callsitlikeiseeit. At first lemon or a splash of lemon juice helped me adjust to the flavor. Now I drink it plain. I'm not a soda or fruit juice drinker but however I do like a glass or 2 of wine at night. Just remember to log it

I generally stick to water and ice tea, but my husband enjoys his diet sodas (a little too much) and he's lost a lot of weight with no problem at all. He even indulges in scotch now and again when he has the calories for it. Even I get tempted by a bloody-marry from time to time when the calories work out.

do you really need to log the splash of milk in a coffee though? Surely it's a negligible amount of calories that you probably burn simply by just being awake during the day.

Add lemon or lime to your water. Problem solved
