Measuring/Weighing Foods....Someone Help Please!

So, I have been just using serving sizes listed on packaging to measure the food I'm eating but after reading quite a few posts I see people recommending using a food scale. I just ordered one but can someone give me tips on using a scale and maybe explain how different the amounts can be from not using one? This is all so confusing to me!

Most of the serving sizes on packages also have the amount in grams. I weigh the grams for the serving size so I can count the calories. My food scale has become my best friend.

Once you start using it you'll be surprised at what actual servings look like. Weighing food is weird at first and can seem like a daunting task, but it isn't bad at all really. Takes a few days to get into the swing, but after that it takes no time at all.0
