The Whole30 Challenge

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Whole30 challenge? It sounds very interesting to me, and I think I'm going to do it, but just wanted to hear some feedback!

Tried it a couple years ago. Gave up after (I think) six days... couldn't stand black coffee! Lol.0

I've done a Whole30 in the past and became suspicious of their reasoning behind the program. I decided to review the citations they provide for each chapter of the book, It Starts With Food, (over 450+ total citations) and see if they were being honest in their interpretation of the scientific literature.
The results: nearly half of the cited claims were either misleading or false (links below). I'd caution against using this diet as much of it is not based in sound science.

Thanks for the good info Mike! I am LOVING this. I would rather have the facts than the hype any day. Be ready to take some flak though, as it turns out, people don't like having what they have hung their hopes on questioned (or debunked).
Sketchy logic = you can eat 2 scrambled eggs and a banana for breakfast. You can not blend 2 eggs and a banana together and make a sort of pancake for breakfast.
I'm continuing my Whole30 but with, what I feel, are some common sense modifications. Like peas. And cashew milk.0
