The scale

I know that you are not supposed to focus only on what the scale says but I'm having a hard time even knowing what my actual weight is. At the gym this morning, I tried 3 different scales and they were all drastically different weights. Also, if I step on one, step off and back on again.. if I'm not on the exact same spot, I was weighing 5-10 pounds in the difference. It could be the floor and/or angle of the scale.. but I am getting frustrated. I don't know which is correct. Any advice?

Ignore the scale. If you must, always weigh on the same scale at the same time with the same clothes on and only once a week. If you ignore the scale but log you foods and exercise, stay within your calorie range, the weight will come off but you need to give it time..... lots of time!0

If you're at the gym, look for the "doctor's style" scale and ask an attendant if it has been recently calibrated. Pick that one and use whatever the scale says as your baseline. I have had zero luck with electronic scales...0

I would mention this to the gym. 10 lbs difference is significant and a gym should take care of their equipment better.0

I use the same scale every time. That way even if it's off on my real weight, at least I know how much i'm losing.0
