How often do you weigh yourself? How often do you track it on MFP?

    I weigh every day in the morning, but Sunday is my official weigh-in day. I feel like I stay more accountable to myself when I weigh every day. I don't worry too much about fluctuations; for instance, I was losing consistently every day for the first week, and then the last two days I've been up a teeny bit. I know it's just normal fluctuations and water weight, but it's good to see it so I can at least look at my eating choices and note if I recently changed anything (or if it's that time of month, I can retain water, as well). I try to track it in MFP every day, but I only take the weekly weight as my "official" weight. I track that weekly weight in my own calendar, too, so I can set some mini-goals for myself every month or two.

    I weigh myself daily as well, it keeps me on track. I admit that it can be a little frustrating when it goes up or when the weight stays the same for a couple of days, but I know it's due to water retention. Also, I have Aria (Fitbit scale) spit automatically uploads my weigh ins.

    I weigh myself several times a week. I only log Monday morning and I log it no matter what it is, up, down or the same it gets logged Monday.

    I used to weigh myself every day. But it was bad for my mental health. So I try to weigh in every Sunday. And only post if any weight has changed.

    I weigh-in on Monday mornings, record it in MFP each time.

    I weigh myself daily. I'm pretty much at maintenance so I don't aways input the weight, since it's the same 2-3 lbs that I gain or lose. But, if there is a substantial change one way or the other (say, more than 3 lbs over my comfort target), I do log it to keep me accountable.

    I got kind of lazy last year and almost gained a third of my weight back. I've gotten back a lot of that progress though from adjusting what I eat and how much I exercise. I've been weighing myself every day this month and it's really teaching me a LOT about what I should and shouldn't do. I don't know if I'll keep doing it after this month is over, but I'm seriously considering it! I used to think that weighing yourself that much was obsessive, but now I see why it's a good idea.

    I weigh everyday, and I have the fitbit Aria scale, which uploads automatically, so MFP gets updated everyday as well.

    I dont even own a scale. I weight check when I am at the doctors office, maybe every 4-6 weeks. Otherwise, how my clothes fit is the thing for me - and how many times I have to get things altered or buy new ones! When the doc confirms the weight loss, THEN I would input it to MFP.

    I weigh daily and log it in happy scale. I only log it in mfp when I reach a new low.

    I weigh myself every morning just to be in tune with my body. I never log my weight. I used to but stopped and reset my weight so it will say I have lost zero pounds forever (well, until I hit my ultimate goal, then it will show I dropped a crap ton of weight). I started monitoring my measurements instead which matter much more to me. I wish there were a way that my measurement changes would post to my feed instead of my weight!

    I feel that way to a degree as well. I stayed the same weight for 3 months but I lost 2 inches on my waist and an inch and a half on my hips, so I felt like it was okay.... but the reality is that I'm 241lbs, and no matter what that isn't a good weight to be at for my joints etc, so I really DO need to lose weight. I wasn't tracking though, I was just trying to mkae healthy choices. In 3 weeks of tracking (if the scale is to be believed this morning) I've lost around 8lbs.

    I weigh in once a week at the scale at my gym which is kept calibrated. I think this rolling average thing sounds great but I am not that disappointed or worried if the scale is the same or goes up even after a good week. I am more focused on the total number of days I stay on my program and log everything. That's my best metric of success, most highly correlated with health and fitness for me.

    I weigh every morning and track every day too
    Helps me keep on track, small loss keeps me motivated and an increase give me the kick up the bum I need

    I have been weight myself every morning but mt fitness instructor told me to lose the scale and stop thinking about losing weight and start gaining muscle, I think she's right so probably going to weight once a month now

    Like many others, I weigh myself daily and track it once a week. I know it can fluctuate and don't freak out if it's off, but I like to see the trends. If I don't lose what I'm expecting in a week, it helps me to know that my weight was lower early in the week, and it will correct itself. I don't obsess about it, and I think tracking once a week is enough, but I like to have more information than that. I also feel like it makes me more accountable - if I have a high-calorie day, it helps me to see my weight go up a bit the next day.

    I do the daily morning-after-bathroom-naked routine and write it down on a tracker taped to the back of the door. No one sees it but me. As far as weight loss, the daily changes are meaningless but I have been cutting down on diet Dr. Pepper, so when I drink more the day before I am noticing a smaller loss or even gain probably from the increased Sodium intake.

    I log it into MFP when I accumulate a 2-3 lb loss.

    I weigh myself first thing every Saturday morning after I pee with no clothes on and before I begin eating/drinking anything and I log it.

    Maybe once every few months. The # doesn't really matter tho... it's all about what I see in the mirror.
