Hi I'm Ann and it's my first time on here. Each day at the end of the day I have often got more than a thousand mg of Sodium left. How can I get the sodium in my diet without eating salt?

Although 2300 mg is the RDA, you can assume down to 1500 mg is a safe margin. If it goes much lower than that without any apparent medical reason, then you need to be concerned. Sodium-potassium go hand in hand in our bodily function, so it is all about the balance. I don't think you need to be worried about your sodium intake for now, unless you have a legitimate medical reason to be concerned.
FYI, seaweed tends to have high sodium due to its origination (ocean). Also it can add many beneficial micro nutrients in your diet.0
