Fitbit exercise adjustment vastly overestimated

MFP's projection of my :) extra calories burned for the day, taking data from my fitbit, is consistently really far off the reality picked up by my fitbit.

For example, my fitbit will say I have burned 1900 in a day, whereas MFP projects I will burn 2300, even at 10pm where I'm clearly not about to burn 500 calories in exercise before midnight.

I wear the fitbit all day every day. I have entered exactly the same weight, height and calorie/weight loss goal into both. Any ideas?? Am I doing something wrong? Do I misunderstand how it works??

Thanks for any help :-)

You still burn calories while you are sleeping, so maybe that's why they project you'll burn another 500. I'm pretty sure they count a day from when you wake up one day until you wake up the next.

Have you checked that the time zones are set to the same one? That is the most likely issue.
