Would you consider taking a women's one a day type vitamin?

My doctor says it's best to get all your vitamins from your food. I don't because I just don't like vegetables & a multi-vitamin wasn't doing it for me, so I take several supplements. If you're worried about it, ask your doctor for a blood test to see where you're deficient. Vitamins are expensive & it seems like a waste to take them if you don't actually need them.

One a days don't have much in them. You can't get all your vitamins from food because most foods now no longer contain much in the way of vitamins. Try to find a multi-pack that uses natural rather than synthetic forms. For example, Life Extension makes 2-a-day capsules that are decent. www.lef.org

I agree would be best to get blood checked and go from there. There are some vitamins and nutrients you shouldn't get too much of. Most women usually need Calcium and Vitamin D, but beyond that getting it from food is best if you can...or so my doctor tells me.

Some people take a multi just to be safe but unless a doctor has given you any suggestions, there's no real need to take anything.

I'm currently taking a prenatal on request from my gyno.

Years ago I got some ideas about quantities and forms from the Vitamin Advisor here: https://www.weilvitaminadvisor.com/
