I've been counting calories using this app for two weeks. I haven't lost one pound. I'm so disheartened. Please help.

Do you weigh all of your food on a food scale? If not, you may be eating more than you think.0

How accurate is your logging? Do you use a food scale? Pick accurate entries from the database? Accurately log exercise calories? Are you eating only a portion of them back or all of them back?
Also did you start exercising at the same time as starting to use the site? If so you may have some water retention going on.0 -
Maybe I need to invest in a scale thanks. And thank you for the chart.0

I don't exercise at all. I'm actually very sedentary. Before I could lose weight without exercising. Maybe it's my age and I may have to. I'm 400

Overestimate the calories you eat and underestimate the calories you burn. Weigh yourself at the same time each day, 1x a week. Your weight can fluctuate up to 5 lbs a day based on water content and food so don't worry too much about it.0

+100 on using the scale. I found I was WAY underestimating the calories I was eating. Weigh everything. Sauces. Oils. Pepper. Whatever. It made a huge difference for me.0

Definitely. It's a total game changer.
And that flowchart is gold.0 -

If you find that eating a low carb diet works with your lifestyle and you enjoy it, then go for it. But low carb is not superior to any other way of eating when it comes to weight loss.0 -

You can if you want but weight loss is more about how MUCH you're eating. I don't eat low carb at all and I'm still able to lose weight at 45 years old. What helped me the most was the food scale and being consistent.0 -
I already posted this once today, so my apologies, but it's so worth watching if you're not losing:

Well you need to exercise . 20's easy 30's not as easy 40's you need to move.
GOOD LUCK xx0
