Hey guys!
So I've just recently started counting my macros, I've been able to balance it out more so than ever before, but I still struggle sometimes.

What are some recipe ideas to add more protein into my diet? I have some I've been using but I would love to have more variety in my diet.

Thanks!

Meat; poultry; fish; shellfish; milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, kefir, and other dairy products; eggs and dried or liquid egg whites; protein powders; legumes (beans, peas, lentils) and legume-based products like tofu, tempeh, and hummus; grains and grain products, including seitan; mushrooms, especially standard white and brown/cremini/baby bella 'shrooms; nutritional yeast; nuts and nut butters, although they come with a fair amount of fat; seeds, also often with a good bit of fat; protein powders; veggie and vegan meat substitutes (available frozen and fresh in various forms, like strips for stir-frying, "burger" patties, "sausage" links and patties, "hot dogs," crumbles to use in place of ground beef/mince.

Some veggies come with a fair amount of protein relative to their total calories, but you'll likely have to eat a large volume of them to make significant headway toward your protein goals, but every gram helps.

Lynn somewhat covered it! Meats, diary and eggs give you abundant protein. But these have fat and cholesterol. Balance it with legumes and grains. All the best to you.

I have been eating a lot of tuna packed in water plain, Greek yogurt, boiled eggs. I have a time trying to get the right combinations and rarely hit my macros to the gram. My macro goal is 50 grams fat, 100 grams protein, and 150 carbs. Of course myfitnesspal has it set higher but the protein is hard to achieve as it is without protein powder.

One way I make my waffles high protein is using protein powder and oat flour. Make sure the protein powder doesn't contain much carbs or fat. I use one with 30 grams protien, 2 grams carbs, 2 grams fat.
