I'm 23 years old and I've struggled with my weight my entire life. This year I will be graduating college with my Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration and then continuing on to nursing school. I refuse to look this heavy in my graduation pictures and I want to be able to be confident walking across the stage to receive my diploma.

I need some support and encouragement. I can share some of my tips with you and vice versa. This is going to be a long journey for me and I don't want to have to do it alone. My goal is to lose at least 30lbs by May and to continue to lose through the summer months to reach my goal of a total of losing 50lbs.

I do believe that we are all beautiful on the inside and out but, this is a personal decision for me to improve my health and my self esteem. I personally don't enjoy going to the Dr because I always get shortness of breath and I don't always like what I see in the mirror.

I wish you all the best of luck on your weight loss journey, if anyone would like to talk or needs some extra support and would like to help me out as well... Please feel free to add me as your friend.

Hi! I have had weight problem my whole life. I had two really bad years. I tore my Achilles' tendon then ended up with bronchial pneumonia. After all that, I need to loose about 75 lbs. I would love to have a friend on this journey. Please add me!

Count me in @oliverjosephinemarie1227. I can't say that I've had a weight issue all my life or even part of my life... Since I've turned 30, it's been a struggle to lose. I'm needing 40 to 45 pounds off me now. Your career of Nursing will test you. I work for UAMS, a clinic. I'm not a nurse - I'm in IT, but I can tell you - clinics, hospitals are a hard place. 1.) There is always someone bringing food. 2.) You schedules are crazy 3.) After working with patients, you forget about yourself - which is what you can never do. Keep your head up girl! You are right, we are all beautiful on the inside and out. I had a very awesome nurse tell me a few years ago, if you truly start to love you for you and you alone, then you can take over anything that comes your way. Focus on you - which it seems like you have your stuff together and that's a big step. I'm new here and I'm telling you reading peoples stories and getting that work of encouragement from a total stranger is priceless!

You can do anything! I will be here for you and hope I can count on you too! I trust you have a blessed day... and enjoy life!
