I'm so excited. I lost 40 as of today. Its been 5 1/2 months and I'm soooo happy! I feel so proud and can't wait to lose another 40.
I notice my loss happens in a pattern. I lose 10, gain back 2. Lose another 10, gain back 2... Anyone elsr have a pattern?

For the past 6 months I've just been losing the same 6 pounds over and over again. I'm determined to make that stop. I think lose 10 gain back 2 isn't too bad! Congratulations on 40 pounds!!0

YES!!!!!!! me....... I will not lose then I will lose like a lb every day then gain 1 or 2 back and kinda hang around that number for a bit. Then I will again oyut of nowhere just lost a bunch......
My biggest problem, if I am not aware, I can gain more back in the period that I don't lose. My body also is the same in the sense. that I can lose weight and I can't tell inmy clothes and noone else notices. I can lost 15 lbsw and look the same then I can lose 5 and all the sudden it is like my body catches up.0 -
Mine seems to be every couple of weeks. One week I will lose a lot like 5-7lbs and then the next week my weight will fluctuate up and down a couple of pounds, then another great week. I figure that my body just needs a week to adjust every now and then.0

I'm having the same issue. If you find a solution for it, let me know!0 -
My pattern seems to be that I go up and down 2 pounds forever and then lose 5 "all of a sudden"0

Glad to know I'm not alone. Its kind of discouraging sometimes though.0 -
Mine wasn't as steady as your's. I lost about 2.2 lbs per week, gaining a little in the middle of the week and losing it again so I posted a loss before the end of most weeks. There were a couple of weeks I did not lose any, but, luckily, most were winners!
Congrats on the 40 lb loss! :drinker: (drink lots of water0 -
my pattern for the last 3 months has been......
Lost nothing......lost nothing......lost nothing......lost 4lb, oh no, i was still holding onto the table.......lost nothing....I see a pattern there!
Seriously tho although only about 3lbs in those 3 months there were bigger changes on the tape measure0 -
I lose a couple stay the same for a couple of weeks, then lose a couple of more then GET STUCK for 1-2 months... then lose a couple of more, stay the same a couple of weeks, lose 2 more, then GET STUCK for ANOTHER 2 months... so frustrating... but I think I'm happy that I'm losing... IF I'm losing... stuck right now so not sure.0

1st congratulations. I read a post on here once where the poster indicated she really didn't lose until she got down to a weight twice. I go down then waiver around for a week or two just above that weight and then if I am working at it I go down again a bit farther down. Then I waiver around just above, etc. I had a plateau for awhile but there were life reasons for that. My loss looks like starting at the crest of a mountain range and making my way through the hills and valleys as I make my way towards the lowlands. The highs are lower and the lows are lower but I stil go up and down as I go down.0

Congrats on the lost! I plateau a lot! I lose a few pounds of fat and then I stop. Very frustrating. I just amped up my cardio.0

If I am consistent with my food I could almost predict my gains and losses. It usually is
Week 1 lose 3-4
week 2 stay the same
Week 3 gain1-2
Week 4 stay
Repeat. Overall it is losses but boy oh buy does it mess with my head.0 -
I was consistent in the beginning but I am all over the place now. I track my weight daily (I am a numbers geek) and there is definitely no rhyme or reason to my weight loss patterns. My body does whatever it feels like doing, whenever it feels like doing it.0
