My dietician said that 1200 calories is too low but that's what mfp says I should eat but she said I should reduce my goal but it didn't change the calorie count how do u reset your calories

So you have reset to lose 1lb per week?
How tall are you and what do you weigh? What is your daily incidental activity like...did you choose the appropriate level in your profile?
You will probably be eating more than 1200cals per day if you are eating back some of your exercise calories.

What calorie goal did your dietitian give you? It's very reliant on your height, weight, current activity level, etc.
To change your calorie goal in MFP, click on "Home" in the top Navigation Bar, and then on "Goals" in the lower Navigation Bar. From there, you can set your calorie count and any other specifics to what your dietitian suggests. Hope that helps!0 -
MFP erroneously thinks you should not go below 1200/day. Bogus!!0
