Eating my last snickers ice cream bar right now

Tomorrow I'm ready to start a low carb, low sugar diet. I will eat veggies at each meal and have fruit and a yogurt for snacks. I'm hoping to down 64 Oz of water daily and do body weight exercises at home with some treadmill time a few times a week.
I've tried and failed so many times before the only difference now is I'm back on mfp and posting for support.
I have a 3 year old and an 8 week old and am desperate to drop my bad habits of gorging on fast food, donuts, and cookies. I will still drink diet soda for now and allow myself a highly carb or sweet laden meal each Saturday. I love veggies so adding healthy food isnt an issue it's just learning to cut the junk out.
But I'm realizing my health is doomed if I don't change and I don't want that!

My advice for people starting out is to read the Helpful Posts in this thread:

Everything in moderation within your calorie limit!
Don't make changes you can't stick to for life.
Good luck, and happy reading!0 -
I think that plan sounds wonderful, actually.
But remember, you can still have that snickers ice cream bar on rare occasions, just work your other calories around it.0 -
Hope you'll do well!0

Good luck! But if you do find the going tough, remember that fitting things you love into your day is always an option I have an ice cream every night, often a Snickers ice cream! (78lbs down )0
