Hi all,
I have just registered for the myfitnesspal application on iphone. The concept is great except "strength exercises" don't register to burn calories and I'm wondering why? Am I doing something wrong?
Kind regards,
lukeamac.

I wondered the samething. You can add weight training to the cardio section. It won't break it down per exercise but that
the only option that I know of.0 -
The strength training section is for keeping track of your weights and reps but calories burned aren't calculated that way. So you have to log strength training in the cardio section to get the calorie counts. The strength training section is really just for your records so you can look back and know when to up weights.0
