I used to be on mfp a few years back when I was a social worker battling stress and chaos, I have since changed jobs, but somehow that weight has followed me and not only stayed but added on a few more pounds to go around. For motivation I have signed myself up for a half marathon to walk/jog in, or as I like to call it, "Wog". The Marathon is May 1, 2016 and I'm on week 5 of my training program. I could use new, friends, new support, and tips, suggestions along the way for training and motivation! hopefully I will loose those pounds along the way. Thank you to everyone that would like to friend me!

Hey feel free to add me if you like. I am training for the diva's half marathon that is taking place in June. Although its a month away from your date, I think we could motivate each other along the way.0

I'm training for a half as well! I'm using the 13.1 Active App, which is pretty good so far. I'm only on week two but I could use support.0

Feel free to add me. I am always training for a half marathon even though I never race any. I just like to run them whenever my body says keep running.0

I just did my first 5k and 10k last weekend. My goal will be to do a half marathon at the same race next year. I'd be happy to offer you encouragement and support. I know the trading can be hard especially if you hit a mental wall.0

I've run 4 half marathons. It's been awhile since I last ran one. But Im planning to run my next one in October with my sister. We usually finish around the 2 hour mark. Weirdly, maybe, I don't lose weight when I train. Only reducing my calories seems to help me do that.0
