I wish you the best of luck, but I think most people can tell you whether from experience or not, that weight comes off much more slowly and unreliably when it comes down to a weight that low. Especially when your workouts can be replacing muscle for fat. I certainly encourage you to try your hardest though!0

i definitely agree that weight goes off much much more slowly. i USED to weigh 120 and im 5'5 and the lowest i got to w as 117. took me over a month with exercising every night doing abs and arms and legs to get from 120 to 117... its hard but definitely try! it still makes for a good habit!0

It's probably not a good idea to think of it like that. Your body's going to get there eventually with the proper deficit, so just give yourself a weight goal. Take away the strict time limit.
Good luck.0 -
Out of curiosity, why 110? That just seems awfully skinny for 5'5". My wife is 5'5", 130ish lbs, great muscle, and sexy as hell (and I'm not just saying that cuz she's my wife... think cirque de soliel body). Also, I checked the BMI and 110 is 'underweight' for your height.
I hate to be 'that guy'... but ya...0 -
In general, you can healthily lose about 1% of your body weight per week (more if you're very overweight). It's possible that you could do it, but it could be at the expense of losing muscle and slowing your metabolism. I'd personally set myself a longer timeframe and rather be encouraged about hitting it early than demotivated by not hitting it by your target date.0

i would set small weight goals... Do experiments... See how much weight you can lose in a month alone first, then adjust what you may need to do to lose more weight. I set 15 lb weight loss goals throughout the almost 3 years ive been losing weight for, and I didn't achieve any of my goals until months months later... It takes time, the longer it takes to lose the weight the better off you may be to lose the weight because it won't come back on quickly either. It took you a long time to gain the weight that you did, it will do the same to get it off.0

If you bump up your workout up to 5 or 6 times a week and throw in some cardio exercises, it will definitely speed up the weight loss and results. I started at 133lbs around late April/early May and I'm at 126lbs as of now, about 1/2 - 1 pound loss a week.
To answer your question, yes it is possible to lose 21 pounds in 10 weeks. Will it be easy? Heck no gurl you gonna have to workout hardcore setting your goal to two pounds a week and watch what you eat and burn as much calories you can like crazy~
But it isn't very healthy to lose that much in two months and a half. And for your height, your goal weight should be around 120 pounds and a lot of toning will get you that beach body. The most you would lose in 10 weeks would be at least 8-13 pounds if you really push yourself. But make sure you don't eat below 1,200 calories! I can't stress about how many times I've said this and how many people still do this. It's unhealthy especially for teenagers and it's on the brink of starvation mode. Starvation mode = bad, slows down your metabolism and you gain all the weight back just as easy. You need to keep a good metabolism so you can keep the weight off. Some more advice to take is that during the summer, try to get out a lot and go swimming, hiking, go to the mall and walk around, etc. and try not to over eat. If you keep this up you will be slim in no time (:
Never give up and stay healthy!0
