I track my steps with a Fitbit Charge but I don't really want to track the calories that I gain from the adjustment the tracker gives. Is there a setting I cant use?

I haven't found one yet so I just don't look at calories remaining, I look at my food calories only so that I don't eat back all my steps/exercise calories. I guess if you 'un-sync' your fitbit that would do it but then you don't get all the information in one place. There is a group specifically for fitbit users - it offers some in-depth advice but there is an awful lot of information, I gave up reading! Good luck.

Just dont link your Fitbit with MFP?

ETA: I have my HR linked. I dont really use it to eat or not eat back calories. I calculate my TDEE less 20% and get my calorie target. This method works for me.
So I know daily I need to eat about 1625. MFP is set to sedentary/1200 cal so I could just watch my Fitbit add in calories for steps, etc. Just to see how it all adds up, literally. Surprisingly enough it gets pretty close to giving me 1625 quite often, give or take a little bit. I like the integration but have my own designated goal regardless of the Fitbit. (Which sometimes requires me to add "fake exercise" calories to get my allowance up to 1625 if I forget it or have a little less active day so I dont close my diary showing an "overage") .... I hope that makes sense. lol.

You have to unsync your activity tracker or pay for Premium.
