1400 Calories & 10 or so pounds to lose

    hi! same here! trying to lose about fifteen pounds! aiming for 1200 cal/ day

    I am at 1220 cal/day. I try to average the week and stay as close to 1220 as possible my average per day for last two weeks have been 1289 and 1287. However I really find it difficult to stay on target. Some days are harder then other, weekends are the hardest.

    I have a similar goal, but I'm trying to turn my workouts up a notch so I can eat along the lines of 1600-1800 kcal :) 1400 kcal is a bit steep for me, portion-wise (working on that too!)

    My current strategy: slightly larger breakfast (to prevent mid-morning snacking), smaller afternoon snack and no snacking after dinner. My lunches and dinners have always been sensible I believe, so I'm not touching them so far... we'll see.
