Yep! I sit 8 to sometimes 12 hours a day. Fortunately I live close enough to work where I can walk 10 minutes to get there, so if I walk home for a quick lunch that's at least 40 minutes of walking a day! I try to run every other day

That's awesome that you run! I don't like running - I prefer high intensity (shorter!) workouts. I should exercise on my lunch break but I don't want to be sweaty at work!

I set a timer to remind me to get up and take a lap around my floor (if possible) just to keep for getting too stiff. Still trying to figure out the best way to routinely fit an actual workout into a 9-10 hour workday though

I got an activity monitor. I have a step goal. It motivates me to workout after work seeing how inactive I am at work. I go to the gym and after a stressful 8 hour workday it has become my happy place and let me body do what it was meant to do...to MOVE! I'm also motivated to get up and take little water breaks which increases my activity and my water intake. More water=more restroom breaks= more steps lol

This is a great idea! I'm going to start setting timers, too!!
