Super Bowl Sunday

I'm not sure how many football fans are out there but I'm a huge football fan and this sunday is one of the greatest and saddest days in football because its the end of football season :sad: .

That aside, Super Bowl Sunday is one of the best days of football and of eating. For those that will be going to a Super Bowl party, don't let you diet get in the way of you having fun and enjoying the game. I've already prepared myself that I will eat pretty poorly, but I've made the decision not to drink. Remember you can always get back on track on Monday :wink: .

    I am doing the same thing I gave myself "the day OFF"....and Monday will be a new day and back to normal.

  • I totaly agree tomorrow is an off day for me as well I'm a huge football fan so tomorrow will be bitter sweet for me! Everyone have a great time!

    I'll be doing a mix of good and bad. Lot's of veggies and fat free dip, baked tortilla chips and salsa but I'll also be having beer (low carb) and bufallo wings (baked) but I'm just not going to worry about it too much.

    I did an extra long workout today since tomorrow is my rest day for working out. :smile:

    Now, I am gonna go lite on the booze tomorrow (might have 2 or 3 mich. ultras)
    I am also bringing a couple
    of appetizers so that I don't have to eat all the crap. I'll be making 99% fat
    free turkey wraps with mustard lettuce, tomato, pickles and american cheese
    in finger sandwich form. I'll also be making
    skinless buffalo wings (baked). If these aren't enough, I know there will
    be a veggie platter there, and some pita chips and salsa. I may go over my cals. tomorrow,
    but atleast I'll be going over with the right kind of food and not empty calories.

    Well, hubbz is working late shift tomorrow so no partay for us.
    I'm not a football fan at all but he's a Giants fan so....

    I'm gonna bump up my exercise a tad tomorrow so I can earn some extra "cheat day" calories. I'm sure I will still watch what I put in my mouth. Greasy, fried food makes my tummy icky now. We're going to a party so I won't have much control over what there is to eat, but I'm sure I will enjoy myself.
