Is this diet going to kill me?!

Hi people! I've just started this whole fitness thing because my moobs have become quite unsightly. I'm aiming to lose a bit of belly fat and some fat in my chest.
I looked on YouTube for a while and found this diet which basically consists of boiled eggs, apples, green tea and oats.
Basically I started the diet today and want to know if it's healthy or not. There were a lot of good comments on the video so it seemed like it would work.
Today I had
Breakfast
3 boiled eggs
1 cup of green tea
1 Apple in between
Lunch
2 boiled eggs
1 medium carrot
3" chunk of cucumber
Green tea
Dinner
54g Quaker Oats w/ milk
Green tea
I also did a 3km jog before dinner.
I would just like a few pointers on if I'm doing alright.
Am I consuming too much cholesterol with the eggs?
Will losing weight reduce the size of my man boobs or do I need to hit gym?
What do you suggest for meals?
I love all fruits and veg so I'm happy eating absolutely anything! Thinking next week of doing pre add meals of chicken, noodles and salad.
All suggestions welcome, and hello again!

If you can live off of boiled eggs, apples, green tea and oats for the rest of ever (aka, is it sustainable). yes.
My guess is no though.0 -
You. Or whoever has to live with you.
No. It is not healthy. It is a low calorie crash diet. Of course it will work as long as you stick with it, you are severely restricting calories. I suspect most wouldn't be able to stick to it long.

this sounds like a recipe for disaster...
there is no way you are going to make long term changes on a diet like that ....
do you really think you can eat that way for the next five years?0 -
It's this 10 day - 10kg thing.
I've been eating healthier since returning to uni
I've increased my veg intake a lot and started to eat more quorn and other veggie alternatives (my girlfriend is a veggie so yaknow)
However I'm just not losing weight, I'm stuck at this tubby area and I just want to quickly cut the fat.0 -

I guess not
like i said I've bought some containers from £ land today so I'm thinking of doing chicken, noodle/rice and veggies pre made meals. I would obviously prefer to eat that.
Only thing I'm really worried about is the cholesterol because the diet says to have 3 eggs for brekky and 3 for lunch.

Look for long term changes. I'm fat because my portions are too big & I snack too much.
The short sighted solution would be to cut out all snacks. But the problem with that is I won't be cutting out snacks forever. I need to change my snacking HABITS. I need to be mindful of what a serving of potato chips looks like, I need to be mindful that a Hershey kiss here and there (10 times a day!) adds up big time.
Increasing veggies is good. But they can't just be in addition to everything else you eat. If your "before plate" was 2/3'rds mac and cheese & 1/3'rd protein. A long term solution might be to cut back on the mac & cheese (say to 1/3 your plate) then use veggies for the missing 3'rd.
Logging food that you will be eating in the future is so helpful. It really does open your eyes. Substituting everything you would normally eat for eggs, oats, etc....doesn't give you tools needed for maintenance. Losing weight is just the first step.0 -
I like hard boiled eggs and I would get so sick of this after a few days. I've been having fun experimenting with skinny recipes and actually get excited about my low cal meals

I would think the gas would kill you, yes. Boiled eggs and oats every day? My gas would be absolutely noxious!0

If you need meal planning ideas.. look into diet point.. Its a app I downloaded.. It has many breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner ideas. ( low carb , low calorie, flat belly, busy ppl, paleo diet etc etc.. ) it also gives you a shopping list and notification of when to eat.. which is about every 2-3 hrs..0
