Depends what kind of working out you want to do. Cardio? Do a bike instead of running. Weight training? Proper form is key, lots of exercises that you can do that are easy on the back.

With leg lifts-put hands under hips, takes pressure off. Planks-do they from elbows. Squats-build some endurance before you try them with other exercises then VERY light weights.

A lot of the pain in the lower back is reduced with weight loss

That said form is paramount if doing weights ..so if you are deload and check your form ...get it checked...correct your stance, leg width, knee turn out whatever

Working on your core will definitely help ..squats, deadlifts, more squats, lunges, bench..all the compound lifts, plus push ups (planks if a beginner but don't buy into the doing it for longer and longer ...if you can hold a plank for a minute it's time to switch it up otherwise you're just working on your endurance) pull ups, rows etc

Avoid crunches or similar exercises, they aren't that effective anyway

light weights ...meh ...focus on Form (at bodyweight or just the bar) and progressive resistance

Light weights are worthless ..unless they are heavy for you in that specific exercise
