Typically I have to use the < symbol to go back to yesterday when logging my lunch and dinner after 12 am and the app changes days. I find it easier than putting half my food on yesterday and the other half on today. It's a struggle to keep things up but you can do it Just find what works best for you.0

At first I thought it would be hard to lose weight working nights. I had to find something that would work for me on the nights I worked. On nights I do work, I'll drink a meal replacement shake with something small like hard boiled egg whites, fruit, yogurt around 1-3 am...I'll eat breakfast sometimes when I get home. Like oatmeal...cereal something light...if I'm really hungry...otherwise I wait til I wake up around noon and eat something and I count my replacement meal as breakfast and my light breakfast as a snack.....on my off days I do a regular normal eating plan...hope this helps...0

I changed the setting on my diary so I don't have separate meals, just one category for the entire day, then I log midnight-to-midnight.0

I have heard of some people changing their time zone so that MFP's day ends the same day as theirs.0

I work 7p -7a and i start my calories at 3pm everyday. I eat dinner with my family before going to work. I then have a snack at 9pm...then lunch at 0100..... (i have to go back to the previous day to log my lunch because the date changed). Then i have a snack around 4am. I go home and have a small meal for breakfast thwn off to bed. I get up at 3pm and start all over again. I have lost 121 pounds so it is working for me.0

I work 10p-7a, and I've just completely flipped my schedule am/pm. I eat breakfast around 6p when I get up, lunch around midnight, a snack around 3, and supper at 8a when I get home. Since my only meal on a different day is breakfast, I put it on the next day. For example, I woke up at 6pm on Thursday, logged my breakfast under Friday, and went about my day. The only hiccup is my step counter, as that automatically logs, but I just run those midnight to midnight. I track my progress weekly rather than daily, so everything evens out.0

I have been working nights 7-7 for 18 years and this is exactly what I do as well.

I've been working nights 7p-7am for 11 years. I handle my day much this same way. What ever meal I eat after sleeping, I call it breakfast.0 -
I'm on day shift now but I worked nights (7p-7a)in the ER for four years, including the last time I lost weight on mfp. On days I worked I would log my lunch break (which was always after midnight) as my breakfast since it was technically the first meal of the day. If I ate something when I got home from work I called it lunch, and what I ate in the evening when I woke up was dinner.
On days I had off I would call the first meal of the day breakfast, no matter what time it was. I would go to a somewhat "normal" schedule on my days off so when I ate was always different and my schedule was crazy, but I still managed to lose 20 lb which was my goal. Doesnt matter when you eat so long as you stay within your calorie limit!
Biggest challenge for me was avoiding thay stress eating in the morning after a long shift (mcdonalds breakfast...) Best of luck!0
