Dinner Ideas?

I am drawing a blank as to what I want for dinner, ideas anyone?

I have to have 4oz of protein, as many veggies as I want, a serving of fruit, and some starch.

Normally I have a salmon fillet grilled, grilled carrots, natural unsweetened applesauce, and a baked potoato with FF butter.

It's a great meal, but it's extremely redundant. Alternative ideas anyone?

P.S. I hate peppers .. :/

    - 1/4 pound lean ground beef (protein)
    - 2 Tbsp diced tomatoes
    - 2 Tbsp diced onion
    - 2 mushrooms diced

Combine the ground beef and veggies. Grill like a normal hamburger and serve on toasted whole wheat bread (starch).

As a side, have apple slices (w/ peanut butter for a healthy fat) or strawberry slices.

I'm going to have tofu in a rataouille sauce with roast carrots, shallots and sweet potato, but you could sub the tofu for fish or chicken breast or even turkey. then for desert i'll be having fat free greek yoghurt with a teaspoon of honey and about 80grams of fresh fruit (which i have to cook first as i'm allergic to raw fruit protein) not sure what the nutrient values of this are, but feel free to look at my diary for some suggestions. ive been eating mainly clean natural, barely processed foods for almost two weeks now and i feel soooo much better for it :-) good luck x

I had ginger chicken last night

    4 oz chicken breast
1/4 cup of brown rice (raw)
    3/4 cup chicken broth
1.5 cups your fave veg. I use zucchini, carrots, broccoli, celery and yellow squash
    1 tsp sesame oil
    couple slices fresh ginger
    splash of soy sauce.

layer in a sauce pot putting rice on the bottom then chicken then veggies. Cook as you would brown rice.

So yummy and flavorful and you can adjust to your taste!

Taco Salad with ground turkey or shredded chicken mixed with as much spice as you like. Lots of salad veggies and tomatoes, ff sour cream mixed with salsa for dressing. 1/4 lite shredded cheese and 7 corn tortilla chips crunched on top. if you have some calories to give you can also add some brown rice to the protein mixture. Sooo yummy. Oh and if the tomatoes don't qualify as your fruit :) you can have a side of strawberries with Cool Whip Free for dessert.

Make a quesadilla with the veggies and protein. If you don't have or like salsa, a little BBQ sauce will be good on it too!
