Hi does anyone know how many calories are burned doing sit ups?

Most likely something along the lines of 1 calorie per sit up depending on your total body weight.
ETA* calculators are showing roughly .2 to .33 calories per situp depending on weight.0 -

Unless you are trying to fit in some chocolate, if that's the case, it's about 25 calories each.0

Even though it doesn't burn a lot of calories keep doing strength training exercises. They burn calories for a longer period of time even after you're done with your exercises for the day.0

Generally speaking, to burn calories you need to do exercise that gets your heart rate up to 60%-85% of maximum. The higher your heart rate and the longer the duration of the exercise, the more calories you burn.0

Sit ups are more for muscle strengthening in the stomach and ab area. To burn more calories you should be on your feet, pedaling or performing whole body movements. (Cardio).0
