It's taken me almost a year and a half, but with the help of PF, and ton of motivation, and religious use of Myfitnesspal, I've been able to shed 142lbs so far and totally change my life. I went from being diabetic on a bunch of meds, including high BP, to being totally med free. Size 48 pants to 36. From 5xl shirts to size lrg. No crazy gimmicks, just working hard and eating right. No extreme diets. Common sense and continually making small changes. I'm 45 yrs old and in the best shape of my life. It can be done.
