Eggs for breakfast meat other 2 meals?

I have a weird thing that I will not eat eggs or egg whites for breakfast and meat for lunch and supper. I do not get nearly enough protein I'm getting 60-70 grams but I am over 400 pound male. If you eat eggs for breakfast almost everyday and meat for lunch and supper please if you will share your daily menu. Thanks

I eat most mornings...sometimes I scramble them with greens, sometimes with mushrooms, sometimes with some diced up ginger, garlic, jalapeno, and green onion...sometimes I don't eat scrambled eggs and just have a fried egg or two over toast...sometimes I do an omelet...sometime I have a couple of boiled eggs.

Note that it is not necessary to have eggs every day...I just like eggs.

For lunch sometimes I have a deli sandwich...sometimes it's a leftover stew...sometimes it's leftover whatever we made the night before...sometimes it's a big salad with some grilled chicken or ham...just depends...sometimes I'm meatless....

For dinner it just depends as well...sometimes we're meatless...sometimes we have a nice spaghetti bolognese...sometimes we grill fish or chicken or steaks or roast a nice pork tenderloin and serve it up with some veg and some kind of starch or whole grain...sometimes we make a nice stew...sometimes I just pick up a rotisserie chicken from the market so all I have to prepare is sides...

Literally there are a million things you could do. Maybe start looking at some cooking websites to get ideas...there's like a million and one things you can do and they can be healthy and satisfying and tasty.

My diary is open. Check it out. Been eating the same "menu" for 5+ years. I was where you are! I'm happy to continue a discussion if you want. :drinker:

My Diary is open to friends. I typically eat enough protein for my goals except like one day a week where I go carb crazy. You can add me. I actually at 4 scrambled eggs for breakfast today. I love meat and eggs.

Why not eat meat for breakfast and eggs for lunch/dinner?

But if you don't like eggs or meat, then get your protein elsewhere. Why not try adding protein powder?

Other sources of protein besides meat and eggs:

    Nuts and nut butters
    Dairy, especially cheese
    Vegetables, especially beans
Supplements (protein powders, vegetarian meat substitutes like tempeh, etc.)

I get 80-100g of protein a day without eating any meat at all save fish, and I have to limit eggs because of the cholesterol issues in my family. I get it all without supplements, though I have them on hand for after I do very difficult workouts for recovery purposes.

WHY don't you eat eggs and meat? Is it a texture thing? I can't imagine following someone else's habits is going to help you like them any better.

You can try eggs disguised in a dozen different ways to see if one texture is preferable over another. Or you can eat eggs for lunch or dinner and have ham for breakfast.

For instance, you can bake eggs with milk in a custard. You can add cheese for savoury, or a little splenda for sweet. Completely different texture.

I dislike eggs first thing in the morning. I find that a steak works well.

I don't always eat eggs for breakfast but I try to have some protein - so Greek yogurt, sandwich, last night's leftovers, smoked salmon, oatmeal with protein powder, French toast with ricotta (ok I use a egg but you don't exactly taste it)...

But yeah I always eat some kind of protein with my meals (usually meat, sometimes fish or shrimp). I'm typically around 120-130g of protein for 1900 calories. I don't think I'd reach my goal of 110g without meat.

I eat my first meal later in the day.
If you want meat for breakfast, cook some ham or a pork chop or a cheese burger.
