Does anyone have an good exercises for losing inches in my belly. I also have some back fat that needs to go. I have arthritis and some exercises are hard to do. Such as doing planks.

Unfortunately there is no way to spot reduce. All you can do is keep losing the weight and it will come off where ever it pleases.0

Yup. What she said.
Spot reduction is a myth that's perpetuated by rubbish magazines and producers of dodgy diet pills.
If you want to lose body fat you have to expend more energy than you consume. It is as simple as that.
Move more. Eat less / make better food choices.0 -

Most belly fat is the result of poor diet.

I kinda need some toning exercises. I mean when you lose weight things get saggy don't they. Such as my belly. I have lost 14.2 lbs and a total of 6 inches.

Where most of your fat gain is concentrated and where your fat loss comes from first and last is both caused by the same mechanism which is the distribution of the so called alpha and beta adrenergic receptors in your cells. A high amount of alpha receptors instead of beta receptors reduces lipolysis and vice versa. Where you have more of which is hereditary and caused by evolution because fat padding is good protection against injuries in vital areas.
There is nothing really you can do against that. So you'll have to keep on losing fat until the stubborn parts have to come along because the other ones are already low.0 -
So toning and strengthening my body won't help my problems? I was looking to find exercises to put into a routine a long with the walking I already do. I watch what I eat n my portions. I don't have a problem there. Well maybe I asked the wrong question in my blog. I do understand that weight can come off where ever it wants. I am now feeling like why did I even blog this. Thanks anyway for your input.0

Strengthening your body is always a good thing. A full body bodyweight training program, such as the basic routine at startbodyweight.com or You Are Your Own Gym, or any of the weightlifting programs below are good. The previous posters are just trying to be sure that you understand that ab exercises won't burn fat specifically off abs, back exercises don't specifically burn back fat, etc. But strengthening those areas will help move you toward having a better physique in the end.
