Calories burnt from exercising....

I did 45 minutes on the elliptical today and, per the machine, it said I burnt about 310 calories. However, when I logged my exercise in MFP, it told me I burnt about 445 calories. Which one is more accurate?

No-one can possibly tell you which is more accurate but if the machine gives you a power output (typically watts) go with that.
Actually I would go with the machine anyway as it at least takes your effort level into account.
You would need a pretty good fitness level to keep up the rate MFP suggests - only you know how fit you are.

Both of them are probably wrong, since they just use an approximate formula that is wrong for most people.
I usually just go with smaller number, it's better to underestimate.0 -
Use the Lower one. In my case, mfp is actually way lower than my treadmill (it's an old machine and doesn't let me input my stats). I use mfp since it's almost half the amount0

I'd use the lower # and even then I wouldn't eat the full amount back.0
