In honor of my grandmother who passed away 16 years ago today at the age of 102, I am having an old fashioned. She drank at least one a day, for as long as I knew her (all my life). She was born in the 19th century, and died in the 21st (by 1 month).

Salude to all those Granny's that had 'a little' something each day and lived a long, healthy life=) My Scottish Granny would indulge with a brandy snifter each night too=) She lived to 99.

I am not, however, but enjoying my Bengal Chai spiced tea just the same!

My grandma studied just before her 102nd birthday. We have long livers apparently in our families.

I had white wine...tried to convince hubs he wants a red. today sucked and calls for wine

Some days call for wine, some for straight scotch. Scotch works well for PTSD

What's your favorite wine? I lean towards a Reisling/Pinot Grigio...
