I'm so damn pissed off right now!!!
normally if I've been pretty slack for a long time then all I have to do is start eating healthy and BOOM! I'll shred the KGs like you wouldn't believe. but this time around its been a month and i have not lost ANYTHING!! Ive been on the fitbit and logging my food as much as I can. Ive been running almost everyday and when I haven't run Ive been at the gym or doing some form of exercise. Most of my clothes don't fit and it just feels like I'm getting fatter and crankier and I don't know what to do!!

I'm in exactly the same position. Soo frustrating, trainers just say keep going and it'll happen but I feel ya! Check your macros? Maybe they need tweaking. Good luck0

Do you weigh everything with scales? How's your water consumption?0
-
Make sure you weigh (solid food) and measure (liquids) EVERYTHING.
Also, if you are new to this amount of exercise, water weight could be influencing the number on the scale. Measure yourself with a tape measure (if you lost something, it will show), and make sure to drink a lot of water.
If you are certain that you are doing all of the above correctly, then consider lowering your calories slightly.0 -

As much as you can? In as not all the time. There's the problem. You're eating too much0 -
SUGAR is the ENEMY. Read labels and eat as few foods as possible out of a box or can. There is hidden sugar, -itols, corn syrup, etc, etc. or sugar substitutes in almost everything "processed" especially increased in many items labeled "low fat." Better to eat full-fat in a smaller portion than the "light" version with all the hidden sugar in it. Get off of diet pop - you will feel better in about 6 weeks. The diet pop just sets you up to crave sugar in other food all day. If you need caffeine, drink 1 or 2 cups of black coffee - it is actually beneficial for women to reduce certain cancers, diabetes, alzheimers, etc. Don't use the pink/blue/yellow packets of sugar substitute - it screws up your hormones (I also avoid soy for this reason). I only use Stevia for sweetener and not very often - the packets are so sweet to me, they almost GAG me now.0

As Queen said, wrong. Sugar is not the enemy. Too many calories are the enemy. Sugar doesn't stop you losing weight, unless you have a medical condition such as diabetes (in which case all carbs need regulating).0 -
The halo effect is interesting, and I like this piece the chaser did about it http://youtu.be/gbfCqnZs0qw
But that has nothing to do with this thread, doesn't make sugar evil, chemicals scary, diet soda evil, processed food the enemy etc etc tbh I couldn't get through all the spurious claims in the previous post...0 -
Sugar is not the enemy. You can eat nothing but pure sugar and still lose weight as long as you eat the correct number of calories to lose. You will probably get sick and feel like crap because you are not getting the proper NUTRITION, but sugar itself will not make you fat.
OP, tighten up your logging. You are admitting that you don't log everything. That's your key. Stick to your calorie goal and be as precise as possible.
That said, you do need to be patient with the process as well. Sometimes I felt like I wasn't losing anything, but then realized that I had actually lost a pound or two in a month, it was just hard to notice.0 -

Too much running. 2-3 times week HIIT Sprint 8, 20 mins is all you need. Pump iron more, and keep carbs under 100 grams/day.0
-
If your not losing it can be
hormones
Totm
not having the right amount calories
Eating too many calories on estimated exercise calories
Water intake
Eating too little can effect weightloss0 -
You can't log food "as much as you can." You have to weigh and log every bite and sip that goes into your mouth, if you want to know why you're not losing. After you've been logging steady for a few months, you'll have a better picture of how much to eat approximately.
But a month still isn't enough time to tell why anyone's weight isn't changing. Log everything and give it at least 4-6 more weeks to see the first results.0 -

Wow, this thread appears to have a lot of spam and broscience happening. More than usual. @jemmafinlayson I would start with the flowchart posted above. That will clear up most of the usual issues before you get started on any of the more dubious claims being posted here today.0
