    there is an overeaters anonymous group here but i don't know how active the actual group is
    i think there is a binge eaters someplace but i don't have a link

    if you are looking for something less organized-like a general group of friends, i'm not sure. I just gathered people who ran.

    Most people start by adding 'friends'.
    Go to someones profile by clicking their username, then click their username again.
    The click 'add as friend'.

    There are threads in the 'Introduce Yourself' forum in which people say they are looking for friends, so you could start with those people.
    (If you post in one of those threads you will probably get a lot of friend requests.)
