Best workouts for glutes and abs?

I'd like to drop some weight and focus on building muscle within my glutes and abs area
i have a relatively flat stomach but it's not firm at all. and my behind is so far from firm and lifted.
which are some workouts that have worked best for you in these areas?

I'd follow any good, full-body strength program (NROL4W, Stronglifts, etc.). I would not work just those 2 areas, nor self-design your own strength program.
Btw, your abs aren't firm because of body fat, and fat loss can't be targeted. For more on that, google "spot reduction myth".
