Fitbit confusion

Yesterday I walked for 25 minutes, had a reasonably active day at work (lots of walking around the office).

However, at the end of the day, MFP gave me an 800 calorie negative adjustment, and failed to credit me for my workout.

So, I deleted the adjustment and manually logged the 20 minute walk. I'm bothered by this.

There is a big bug in the system, now very few people are getting the right fitbit adjustments

Thank you. This is what I wanted to hear. My calorie allotment was jumping around like crazy yesterday and made it very difficult to plan what I was going to eat.

Well, my weight continues to trend at historic lows and I'm fit as a fiddle, so I won't worry about it, and hope the MFP gods are on it.

I've noticed this today too - been driving me mad looking at settings and continually re-syncing.

    I should've looked here first

It did something weird like this to me yesterday night too when I tried doing a sync. The calories were there and then they disappeared. It was weird.

I find that my fitbit has always grossly overestimated my calorie burn for my steps. I decided to unsync it from MFP, and just log any actual workouts for my calorie adjustments. Getting all of my steps in is still important, but I don't want to use my steps from walking around the office as a workout calorie adjustment.

I've been logging my food on MFP but looking to my Fitbit dashboard in the "calorie left" area to track how many calories I have left to eat. The view on MFP is a complete mess for me at this point.

Fitbit has always worked for me with MFP. It's only lately the whole negative adjustment bizness has thrown me. Makes me slightly koo koo
