I am feeling a little discouraged, I am setting small goals, I recently started extreme workouts at a boxing gym, gained 2 pounds even thought I have been keeping my calorie intake to 1200. Anyone have before and afters from 1 month of working out? Help motivate me? Thanks!

A couple of things:
1) if you're new to working out, your body could be retaining water to repair your muscles.
2) are you weighing all of your food? If you are really only eating 1200 calories, it is highly unlikely that you are gaining real weight on 1200 calories (unless you have an undiagnosed medical condition.
3) be patient.0 -
I have been using measuring cups and a small scale for my meats yes. Maybe my body is retaining water for muscle repair, I can hardly climb the stairs I have been so sore.

Muscle repair and weigh everything not just meat0

You're not going to see a lot of difference, if any, in just one month.0
