Bad relationship with food and binging... HELP PLEASE!

In 2014 I turned to emotional eating due to being upset about things that had happened/were happening in my life, which slowly began to ruin my relationship with food. Due to this I gained over a stone and genuinely felt crap about myself so I finally decided to do something about it, but in an unhealthy way.
I started drastically obsessing over food and over exercising. I wouldn't eat anything cooked by anyone else or any hot meals as I feared that there were 'too many calories'. I am 5''6 and my weight dropped to 7st10 in May - I was happy(ish) with my body but I had such an unhealthy 'obsession' with food.
In August 2015 I got myself into a really horrible relationship and started binging every single day. We broke up in November 2015 thank god but the habit of binging every day has stuck. It's now February 2016; this has been going on for about 6 and a half months which is disgusting.
I NEED TO STOP BINGING. I'm now too scared to step on the scales because I know I'll end up crying and I don't even know whatever else. I'm so unhappy.
Please can somebody help me/tell me how to break out of the habit of binging EVERY single day?

You really just have to make the decision to not do it. Getting started is the hardest part. I found the best way is to start an exercise program. I feel like if I exercise first thing in the morning then I'm committed for the rest of the day because I don't want to ruin the good start I had.0

It's hard, but try hard to stop NOW because I've been doing it for 5 years. You don't want it to go on that long.0

Logging items before you eat them is helpful. It opens your eyes to what you are doing to yourself. Maybe you could commit to logging everything you eat before you eat it, and see if that helps?0

I have the same issue. I couldn't deal with the stress in my life so I would constantly eat and eat a lot. I still deal with it a bit but not nearly as much. Logging my food helped me. I focus more on the nutrients I'm getting more than anything though. Also doing yoga or some sort of exercise when I felt like binging helps me. For me it really is an emotional issue and dealing with the emotions making me want to eat helped me more than anything.0

I've been there in the past. But you have to say no more and stop it!
You can do this!0 -
It sounds like you could benefit with some professional help to deal with the stress and unhealthy food binging. I would recommend a counselor who could help address both of your issues.0

The picture on your profile looks fine? Is it an old picture? Just asking because sometimes it's not an unhealthy relationship with food necessarily, but an unhealthy body image that's being carried.
Either way, make sure if you are dieting that you are getting enough calories every day, otherwise you will just end up binging because your body wants food.
Everything in moderation is okay, you just have to set limits for yourself. I stick to my macros every day, but once a week I will work a cheat meal in, and every now and then I will fit 3 Oreos into my macros. Also...if it's a sweet tooth issue, the Oreo quest bar is quiet yummy.
Just make sure first and foremost you're taking care of yourself emotionally. Build that strength and learn to tell yourself no. Also learn to be okay with how you look, because you can always change that...you just need to love you no matter what. Add me if you want! Hope you're well!0
