    Way too overpriced.

Why no just follow MFP which is free?

The expensive Tupperware containers or the workouts? I wouldn't waste my money on the tupperware, instead buy a food scale, but I've heard people really enjoy the workouts.

Don't pay for overpriced Tupperware - Google the amounts per container, go to any "coach"'s website, and figure out your daily containers for free.

Having said all that, I have definitely lost weight with the portion control piece of 21DF. I like the structure - I tend to be a disaster with an IIFYM approach (eat all the things!!!), and the concept of the containers helps me to eat much more healthily than I would otherwise (even if I don't use the exact BeachBody brand containers).

Standard disclaimer: I am not a "coach", nor do I drink Shake-whatever.

MFP is free, give a month and you will pleasantly surprised. Buy a food scale with your money.

I just completed 21 day fix and did not do the doubles option. The workouts are great and challenging! I love all the days except "yoga fix" day. The lower fix is probably the hardest workout on the DVDs. The containers are really crappy and confusing and I don't use them or follow the calorie intake they have in the book as it is too many I feel. I log through my fitness pal and eat less than what the book says to eat. I have lost weight but not the 15 pounds they claim. I have only lost 7 pounds and 5 of those I lost doing this program. I start round 2 on Monday.

    This is good advice.

I have enjoyed some beach body workouts, although I have not tried 21DF. I recently noticed beach body offers unlimited streaming of all their stuff for a monthly fee via their website. I don't recall the price. Perhaps you can get the scale and the workouts!

From what I've seen of Autumn's workouts on YouTube, she's a solid trainer. I've not done 21DF but I do like her YouTube workouts and I'm sure her workouts for 21DF are good. I recommend using a foodscale in place of the containers.

I ordered it just for the workout dvd. I have my food scale and Mfp for the nutrition portion. So far I like the DVDs but bavent done each workout yet due to being sick and my schedule.

I LOVE this program! Just restarted it on Monday. It's so easy to follow and the workouts are just 30 minutes!! I am a coach for them and have done most of their programs, so if you have any questions feel free to reach out

If you are already small/close to goal weight, it's entirely possible to eat at or over maintenance using the container system. The workouts are excellent, and the nutritional component is okay if you're a. really big with a lot of weight to lose and b. totally clueless about nutrition, but it's nothing magic and you get a lot more flexibility and control using a tracking system like MFP. Which is also free.

It's also very hard to cook or eat out on 21 day fix's meal plan, which might be fine for 21 days, but is not something most people can do forever. You'll have to learn how to do some form of CICO to maintain any results you see when your 3 weeks are up- why not save the money and start now?

If it's so good why did you need to 'restart' it

did it not teach you how to maintain?

You don't have to do anything to sign up as a BeachBody Coach. You don't even have to have actually used the program itself - so watch out for those guys. They will try to sign you up as a coach as well; they get bonuses for this similar to what would happen in a pyramid scheme.

BUT - I loved the workouts. Definitely give those a try, but IMO, dump the diet side of it.

I feel like no matter how many threads are started like this and no matter how many times this question is asked no answer is ever given!!! Please someone answer it - Why do you need to RESTART something?

The bolded is all anyone needs to know.

Of course someone selling it is going to "LOVE this program!"

Ugh, I hope people are smart enough to see through the lies.

The only "coach" I've ever seen come back for a dialogue ended up tripping over her own words and admitted that she was less than a week into the program herself.

I don't think they want a dialogue about the purported benefits of the program. I think they just want to scope out potentially gullible or under-informed people so they can give them the sales pitch via private message.

Because that's how multi-level marketing works. They want you to be a repeat customer and eventually a coach. (And my sister's a full on, rah-rah, flying out of the country to go to motivational seminars coach, so I've heard the sales pitch.)

That being said, the workouts are soli but you can get the Tupperware through Walmart and even Avon cheaper if you really feel you'll need it. However, your already on MFP, obviously. Why not just invest in a food scale and learn moderation and real portion control? I mean, you could stuff a lot into a piece of Tupperware. Doing that with spinach isn't much to worry about calorie wise, but something like peanut butter? Still easy go over without a proper food scale. Are you really going to use Tupperware for the rest of our life?

I would be very interested in why you've chosen this approach, as you already have a free and effective tool for weight management at your disposal right here.

You're definitely correct and I know why they say they restart and won't answer the question..because no one can maintain on this- it's not a life plan! I just would love for someone to actually try and answer the question! :)

Unless you're going to borrow it from someone else, or download it (which I... totally didn't do... >.>) I really can't suggest it. Virtually anything BB is a ripoff (in my opinion), especially when you can find a wealth of FREE programs. I saw okay results on the program, but I put the weight back on as soon as it was over. I was STARVING constantly, despite eating as much (if not more) than they suggested.

I would highly recommend checking out bodybuilding.com -- they have a lot of really good (and free) programs. You can filter them out based on your fitness goals and your current age, weight, etc. PHUL is a pretty good beginner program, as well.

    Best of luck!

My wife did it. Lost about 10lbs, stopped and the weight came right back. Its a good program for beginners to teach them portion control and what certain serving sizes actually look like. The workouts are good for those people on a time crunch too, as they are 30 minutes long. Plus its short enough where you don't loose motivation before the program is over.

So if you are new to dieting, it is a good program. If you have done this diet thing before, then I would look at other workout programs.

I personally hated it. I am a mother if 3 who has 0 spare time. The program requires lots of prep and planning to be successful. I've been thinking of putting mine on eBay.

I've bought and tried 21 Day Fix Extreme and it def works. I lost weight, inches and overall looked slimmer.......but it's waaaaaay to expensive. It's not worth it. My friend is a Beach Body Coach and talked me into it. I like the ideas of using containers and you can even purchase knock off containers on Amazon for around $12. They even come with the charts that tell you how many you are allowed for each color. I would recommend buying those ones and pairing it with working out and you should see results. Hope this helps!

I agree with others about BB. I did follow the plan for 21 days and lost lbs and inches. However, I didn't like the shake or the containers. I like the workouts, dirty 30 and pilates are my favorite workouts. I felt like the containers overwhelmed me and I kept focusing on what I "couldn't" eat vs. eating certain foods in moderation. I RESTARTED mfp because I have an addiction to food. I've been back on mfp for 10 days. I'm down 1.1 lb from keeping in my calorie range and working out with the BB dvds. I would like to buy the second edition of the BB workouts, but I refuse to pay $70+ again for 7 workouts. I wish you all well.
