So you're going to stop eating until you hit your goal? and think because you call it 'fasting' and not starving it is healthy?

Your plan is completely utterly flawed and dangerous. Please reconsider.

Minor muscle loss. Starvation is after you have exausted your fat supplies.

To be blunt - your plan is stupid, dangerous, ill-advised and has no redeeming features whatsoever.

Agreed. I'm sure your local hospital will be seeing you in a fortnight or so. Watch out for organ failure!

This is literally the worst idea I've read on MFP all day.

    And that's saying something.

Other folks here are jumping right onto a name-calling bandwagon, which I don't see as particularly productive.

First you have to understand that your body does not "use up fat" and then neatly proceed to "using up muscle." When you cut calories, your body will go to BOTH MUSCLE AND FAT reserves to keep you alive and moving. So yes, you will start wasting muscle immediately.

Second, you can permanently damage your organs by not providing them with the nourishment that they need.

If you want to be healthy, then it will take a while. A life-style change, or it will all reverse as quickly as you can blink an eye :)

So...start reading some good blogs! I find livestrong.com is great for advice about all sorts of things fitness and health related. Go forth and learn! And be well.

Hey if bears can do it

Are you also going to plug your rectum with a mix of fecal matter, fiberous plant material and your own hair, then?

Either that or somebody with absolutely no knowledge of nutrition/physiology. It doesn't work like he thinks it works, lol.

I would like to believe that OP is a troll and knows better! and is doing this for the attention. If not he should be seeing a doctor and not be on here.

Do what you want of course, but why tell a bunch of nutrition savvy people who will think you are stupid and a few who will tell you so.

Oh, it's that negative attention thing. Pathetic and desperate.

One would hope that before this thread is poofed, the mods will remove all the flags that the OP saw fit to leave.

Thread will be locked anyway ...

This is not the right forum to discuss water fasting.
