OPERATION: Skinny B*tch (5/13-8/13) WEEK 6

Current Weight (6/17): 153.0
Weight lost since last week: 2.4lbs
Calories burned since last week: 1,628 (I didn't do so hot here)
Nutrition goal met?? nope, been overeating a little bit
How many miles did you travel this past week: 5-6
NEW GOALS for the week of 6/17 through 6/24:
Calorie burn goal: 10,000 (haha! I want to see how close I can get anyway)
Weight loss goal: 4lbs..I want to break into the 140s!!! I have less than a month till my b-day (I want to be under 140 or very close)
Nutrition goal: under 1200 total consumed for most days, more water, less sweets!
My thoughts: At the end of this coming week, we will be half way through our Operation!! So how much have you lost so far?? How are you feeling-- Better than when you started?
I've lost 9.4 pounds since May 13th! And I've been feeling much better about myself, with a lot more energy!
I didn't meet my exercise goals this week, but I'm going to say for this week I want to make it to the gym 5 times, I'm going to buy some tans at my gym---so i have to go to be able to reward myself with tanning! haha! BRIBERY!! :bigsmile: And ill try to do the elliptical at home in the evenings on top of that, I've been slacking off and I need to get back on it!

What are your trouble areas?!?? Mine are my butt, my legs and lower stomach(that's from a baby...grrrrrr) But I have seen so many success stories on here where you can't even tell that the women have had children!! So I'm thinking about buying 30DS and giving it a try.... I guess we will see! Maybe just getting back in the GYM will help tremendously.

Current Weight (6/17): 260.2
Weight lost since last week: 2.6 lb - YEAH!
Calories burned since last week: 4,575 -well under my 6,000 goal BUT I'm ok w/that because I've been traveling and didn't workout for 2 days!
Nutrition goal met?? NO. I was 4 days over my calorie count due to traveling.
How many miles did you travel this past week: 33.92 miles
(9.54 Elliptical/Treadmill & 24.38 Stationary Bike) ALMOST 25 miles on bike!
NEW GOALS for the week of 6/17 through 6/24:
Calorie burn goal: 6,000
Weight loss goal: 3 lbs
Nutrition goal: Less than 1,600 for most days and no junk food
WEEKLY CHALLENGE!!!
I will travel a total of 50 (25 elliptical/treadmill & 25 bike) miles.
My Thoughts: This week I actually exercised 5 days because I'm traveling. I am proud of myself for exercising and eating well during this time. Next week I'm
going to do cardio only so that I can hit my 50 mile goal. I'm trying to change things up.
On 5/13/11, I was 269 lbs. So far I've lost 8.8 lbs! I'm just really happy that I'm sticking with this.

NEW GOALS for the week of 6/17 through 6/24:
Calorie burn goal: 1500 (starting small as I add some light workouts back in)
Weight loss goal: 1-2lbs
Nutrition goal: I want to stay under 1200, but I also want to make an effort to just eat cleaner and healthier in general. I'm going on vacation to NY on Monday, so it will be hard, but I hope to do it!
My thoughts: I've lost exactly 10 pounds since we started this challenge! I am definitely feeling better though having the surgery kind of set me back a little. I'm ready to jump back in though!
Goals for the week: I just want to ease back into it and eat healthy as much as I can.
What are your trouble areas?!?? Definitely my butt, thighs, and upper arms. So much extra fat! It seems like I continuously lose inches from the place that are really small enough but never lose any from those areas.0 -

Nutrition goal met?? In terms of keeping under 1200, yes. Water intake up? Not really.

NEW GOALS for the week of 6/17 through 6/24:
Calorie burn goal: I am still determined for that 3,500!!
Weight loss goal: 1-2lbs.
Nutrition goal: More water, under 1250 for most days, and down on the fat/sugar intake.
My thoughts: Well well well! I started changing my eating habits in mid-April so I went from 156lbs to 145 by May 2nd, and then I began my journey of working out again. I joined MFP and since I joined I've dropped from 145lbs to now 134lbs. I must say, I'm quite happy with myself and am utterly excited to be seeing improvements. Its really nice to feel MUSCLE in my thighs again rather than jiggling fat. I've already had some up and downs in terms of my emotions, but I've had a strong support system from my friends which is still keeping me going! Apparently, I've motivated others to start trying P90X and Turbo Fire which blew my mind away!
This past week, it wasn't my best, but somehow 3lbs melted off of me. Hahaha.
What are your trouble areas?!?? Those include my triceps, butt, inner thighs, and lower abdomen. I have biceps, but my triceps still need a little more work, and inner thighs are just EVIL to get into shape.
Now my fellow skinny b*tches - let us continue to work together! Thanks mtkautz for this challenge by the way, its a great motivator!0 -
I'm late because I spent a 4-day girls' weekend in LA. Did 2 spin classes while there and ate moderately. Did have some special desserts and drinks which were not typical (although they were delicious). I stopped logging Thursday, so things are a bit off.
Current Weight (6/20): 133.0 (I was 132.6 on Thurs, but Monday morning I am back up to 133. Not bad, considering)
Weight lost since last week: 0
Calories burned since last week: 4664
Nutrition goal met? yes until I went to LA Thurs-Sun. didn't track those days.
How many miles did you travel this past week: 90 (big rides)!

Weight loss goal: 1 lb.
Nutrition Goal: zig zag calories; making sure to eat 30 min before and 10 min after cardio event

It looks like we are losing quite a few followers in this operation....but that's ok, we will be the skinny b*tches in the end of it all, right?!?! haha!!0 -
thank you! BTW, I thought I would bring up an interesting point about exercise vs. the scale . . .
you will see in the pic above that my girlfriend with me is the same height. We also wear the same size in clothes (ever since college). However, she weighs 119 with about 23% body fat, and I weigh 133 with about 19%.
She does not work out at all, and starves herself--always hungry, drinking coffee and smoking in order to keep her weight at 119 lbs. All weekend she probably ate fewer than 1000 calories a day. I think this is so sad--all for a number on the scale--she beats herself up if she hits 120, but she hates working out.
I am much happier to work out and be fit, and I get to eat about 2000 calories a day! Given that I weigh 14 lbs more, but wear the same size clothes and look fit, I'd say I'm *WINNING* :laugh:0 -

I would also agree that you are indeed WINNING! I have a friend who is pretty much so like that (minus the smoking part). She says she doesn't "mind" working out...but she never does. She'd rather eat crumbs than go out running with me.0 -

I wanna make sure that I reach all the goals that I have for myself. Im getting married next year and I want to look fabalous for my future husband and I want to look and feel great during the summer. I love going to the beach but it doesnt feel so good when I am not happy with the way I look. Im working towards it tho!!!0 -
I am trying desperately to find my lost motivation. My birthday is in four weeks... I decided in March I wanted to be 120 on that day, but I dont really see that happening. If I make it to 135 I will be satisfied, but I'm going to need to find something...or someone to kick me in the butt.
I don't know what's going on with me lately, but I just can't seem to do it. I'm eating ok, but working out.... thats a different story. I'm going to get on the elliptical tonight after my daughter goes to bed, and then try to get up in the morning before class and do it again.
Maybe start phase 1 of p90x again tomorrow?
I dont know. I need something... you'd think the birthday so close would be enough... but apparently not. :grumble:0 -
I can't tell you how many times I have self-sabotaged before an event. grrrrrr!
I hope you are having a better day today. For my sweet tooth I try to plan for a nice evening dessert as a reward for good behavior during the day0
