Has anyone fell down hard to the ground while exercising?

Hi, I'm new to the MFP community, but I've been using the app for awhile. Anyways, I was playing indoor soccer yesterday and fell really hard to the ground. It didn't hurt that much, but the next morning (right now), my right shoulder hurts whenever I try to move my right arm. Is there some effective ointment or heat/ice patch I can use to relieve this pain? I decided to go see a doctor if this doesn't go away over the weekend.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

P.S. I did try a heat patch overnight but didn't quite work. I'm not even sure when to use heat and when to use ice patch..AHH!!

A way to make your own gel packs for freezing is fill a ziploc bag with dishsoap and freeze. Freezes like those gel packs you can buy in the stores. You can make the different sizes by using different size bags.

Oh I'm sorry you're hurt! I've found more relief from ice than heat to any injuries I've had. And - Ibuprofen!!!

Hoping for some speedy healing for you!!!
