Never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually getting into lifting weights! I've always been a cardio girl, but I'm liking the results from strength training and defining my muscles! Who else is feeling empowered?!

Although I have always enjoyed lifting weights, I recently started a strength training program as well, and I am feeling ridiculously empowered as well. I love the results and everything else that has been coming along with it. Are you doing any program in particular?

Weights plus cardio are SO much more beneficial than cardio alone! Builds muscles = muscles burn more calories at rest than fat = you're burning more calories throughout the day, even at rest! WOO! Plus, I love being able to keep up with the guys ;) lift big, girl!

I've been doing the Bikini Body Guide which is a lot of body weight resistance. I had a great NSV today when I did a whole set of lay down push-ups on my feet and not my knees!!! Feels so good!

I do love resistance training. I'm not a lifter, so I do body weight training which is working well..
