I don't aim for anything. I go to bed when I'm tired and wake up whenever I wake up. This typically means going to bed at 10PM and waking up at 6AM and getting 7.5-8 hours of sleep. My work doesn't care too much when I get in so long as I work 8 hours, so I haven't used an alarm in years except when I have to travel, which means getting up to get to the airport in time.

I'm useless unless I regularly have a solid 8 hours of sleep a night. Meaning, I'm in bed by 9:30pm to get up at 5:30.

I don't aim for anything either but go to bed when tired and get up when awake. And this means that I am almost always in bed and lights out by 9:30 p.m. and up at about 5:30 a.m. I have an alarm clock but it rarely goes off because I'm awake before.

I also know from experience that if this "schedule" is disrupted I can barely function and walk around in a fog. I'll also be more likely to binge eat lots of sugar and carbs, so I really do try to make sure that schedule stays the same as much as possible.

Most nights I allow 8-9 hours for sleep and I find that I typically sleep around 8. I go to bed about 9:00PM, read for a while until I am actually sleepy (anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more), and get up between 6:00 and 7:00 in the morning. I get really cranky if I have less than 7 hours.

7 hours minimum. if I left it up to my body I'd sleep 10 hours every night.

I function best on at least 8 hours a night. Ideally, I'm asleep by 2130.

No aiming for sleep. When I need to sleep I sleep.

If the day calls for a power nap, I take one. If I fall asleep on the couch watching TV, I just do, but I go to bed to finish the sleep and if I wake up at 3:00 or 4:00 or 5:00 so be it.

I function much more on 5+. Anything less the power nap is needed in the day time.

The older I get, the less I need.

I wake up at 5AM. I'm lucky to be in bed by midnight.

    Ideally 8-9 hours.
Tend to average 7-7.5 on weekdays, and I like at least one 10 hour sleep at the weekends.
I find I need more sleep when I'm training more.

I was only getting 4-5 a night for a long time....I got the Fitbit for Christmas, and after actually seeing the horrible numbers night after night, and the effect it was having on my day and health, I decided to make more sleep my primary goal; I now aim for at least 7 hours per night. I finally succeeded twice this week, which is a huge thing for my efficiency during the day, with both work, and my workouts. Not to mention I smile more on 7 hours than I do on four...lol :p

I average about 6.5-7 hours a night. I prefer 8 hours, but Netflix, lol. On the weekends, I can sleep for a good 8-10 hours if there's nothing that forces me to be up at a specific time.

I get about 8 to 9 hours of sleep. I don't like the way I feel on less than 8.

I shoot for 7 hours of high-quality sleep (according to my Fitbit) and a bare minimum of 8 hours of being asleep (regardless of quality). Typically, I naturally go to sleep around 8:30-9:30 (depending on how long I'm reading in bed) and wake up around 5:30-7:30.

I usually get a broken 6 hours or so, depends on how well the children sleep and when the baby finally goes to sleep. I haven't slept a full 8 hours in over a year.

I usually get around 6 to 8 hours of sleep. Excercising helps a lot.

Ughk I could sleep for weeks. I usually sleep for 6-6.5 hours during the work week and I'm always a sloth in the morning and can barely get out of bed. I find when I get 8 or more I'm way more peppy. But being a night owl and waking up early dont mix. Plus I often work overtime and after driving home and do this and that... I'm in bed its 11 or 12.
    Maybe I'm getting old.

I aim for 8 but rarely get it. 6-7 is typical.
