Hi - I've always been active and haven't had many weight issues until I hit 50! Now my middle and hips are growing ! I've always been able to eat what I wanted but now it stays with me and I can't seem to excercise it off. Does anyone have a meal planner tool they use? I'm not a good cook so would love to know what I'm supposed to when so I can follow a plan. Thanks !

Sorry, I'm not familiar with any meal planner tools.

If I were you, I'd track what you are eating now for a week or two and then look back through to see where you could make small changes. Perhaps eat a smaller portion or substitute something you like with a different thing that you also like. You can then pre-log future meals if you want a framework so that you know ahead of time what you plan to eat.

The closer you stick to your personal way of eating, the easier it is to cut calories and stay with the plan long term.

Hi, I had the same problem at 50. I use The Idiot Proof Diet by India Knight and Nerys Thomas (available on Amazon). It is simple, you dont have to be a good cook, it tells you what to order in restaurants and you can still have the odd glass of wine. I lost about 3 stone on this diet.... it is high protein and low carb diet. Good luck with your quest.....
