Tattoo and gym

How long after did you return to the gym? It on my arm, so not worked on or stretched.

    Normally a few days, followed by 1-2 weeks of taking it light (try not to sweat crazy or do something that would end up in fabric rubbing it a lot).

    Personally, I'd play it safe with the tattoo. You can make up a couple weeks of gym time, it's not so easy to make up damage to a tattoo.

    Tattooist said a day or two. Just shower instantly once finished

    One day. Both my arms are covered and I just took a day off.

    My most recent one I got on friday, was back in the gym tuesday. Worked out sunda & monday at home. It was the upper arm

    One day... Just don't irritate it with clothing rubbing on it. Then shower right away and put the vitamin e on it!
    Sweating doesn't ruin it!

    Oh I just meant that sweating won't affect it, I have several tattoos and they are all ok after working out.
    Too much sun right after or excessive rubbing on a new tattoo can irritate it.
