I injured my back 6 weeks ago and I'm thinking about trying out a yoga class to help me with stretching. Anyone recommends it or not ?

What have you done to your back? Is yoga recommended by your doctor or physio?0

Sprain muscle, didn't break anything. Have an app next week0

I have two large herniated disks and do yoga every day to keep pain at bay. That said, you have to listen to your body. For instance, back bends usually don't work for me. All yoga classes are not created equal either. I would go for a mind body or restorative class if you're in any pain.0

Look for a routine that is specifically designed for back pain, would be my recommendation. Those usually include the moves that stretch and strengthen without putting too much strain on.0
