I have rejoined after a whole year of being lazy and letting myself slip. I have a 4 and 6 year old and a got a little busy with that. Recently, as of December 31st, I became a vegetarian and having no problems really. It's easier than I expected and a lot of things are available instead of meat.

I also recently purchased a treadmill for home use and it is a GREAT motivator. I never miss a workout and have a treadmill that uses google maps and it makes it entertaining. Now, I don't have to worry about getting a babysitter or the craziness of bringing the kids with me to the gym.

Looking for more friends for motivation and tips! I'm also a high school English teacher, if any fellow teachers want to add me :)

I want to lose about 20 pounds which has been hanging on since I had my second son in 2012.

Good luck to everyone and hoping for a great and healthy 2016!

Good luck to you! I've been a vegetarian for a long time if you ever have any questions about it.

Thank you!! I really think besides being a vegetarian, I should probably cut my sugar intake down too!!! But thanks for the comments. My husband has been vegan for the past month. I can't believe how many options there are for vegetarians and vegan's. It's awesome!

Hello! I became a vegetarian in November of 2015 and am finally looking to actually lose weight. I recently finished undergrad and am definitely in the worst shape of my life :( Here's hoping that both of us meet our goals! I do most of my cardio on a treadmill as well. I usually speed walk for 45 minutes to an hour while watching instructional videos online on a variety of subjects. It really helps to pass the time
