Before any potential nasty comments come in, let me explain.

We have been making fresh salads and our fridge keeps freezing them. Yes, freezing them..making it a saladsicle.

We have tried storing it in a glass bowl with a lid and it lasts a few days, but then freezes so u switched to a plastic tupperrware container and the next morning it was solid ice.

How should I store it?? It's driving us crazy and we are tired of wasting money.

my fridge at work does this when we place it too close to any "wall" so when I store it in the fridge at work I place it in a glass container in the very middle of the fridge.... hope that helps.

Is your fridge freezing other things? Maybe the temp is turned down too low and needs to be turned up a little. My last fridge used to freeze eggs in the egg slot on the door. We had to stop storing anything in that spot and put eggs on one of the shelves. We also realized items on the top shelf were more likely to freeze since that was where the cold air flowed into the fridge.

It freezes some stuff from time to time. It actually froze my oranges last week!! I'll try turning it down and see what happens!

+1 to adjusting the overall temp
Also, mine freezes things near the vents from the freezer, even if everything else is OK.

Keep it away from the back where the cold air comes out. I store prepared salad in these bags to keep it fresh longer: http://www.amazon.com/Debbie-Meyer-GreenBags-Freshness-Preserving-Storage/dp/B00I4V1U06/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454950113&sr=8-1&keywords=green+bags . I put it in the produce drawer.

I didn't buy them from Amazon; they had them at my grocery store. They really do work.

I'd adjust the temperature of your fridge and store it as far away from the freezer as possible (the top shelf of my fridge is much colder than the bottom since it's right below the freezer).

Put it in a salad bowl and then put 2 paper towels on top of the salad, then cover it with plastic rap or cling film. The paper towel will absorb the moisture so change it every day or two. ( This is for fridge storage ) and it will last a week at least.
