    This is a great link!

And the calculator she links to is also fantastic: http://www.curvesandcorsets.com/uk_files/BraSizingCalculator.htm

100% dead on for me, too.

yep, i measure 29 under the bust and 36 over, and this makes me between a 30E and a 30F, although 30F fits better.

the old fashioned way of adding 4 to your band size makes for such an ill fitting bra. It was appropriate before bras had elastic in them, but not anymore, and most good bra manufacturers measure with the new method

My measurements are this exact ratio, actually. I wear Victoria's Secret BioFit line, which ARE elastic-banded. Or...some sort of stretchy nylon anyway. ;)

I've recently been properly fitted, and was gobsmacked to go from a 40DD to a 32G, having only lost about 10lbs in weight! Just goes to show that I was wearing the wrong size bra all these years.

Next up? A properly fitting sports bra... ;)

Great article! I found that since losing weight a correct fitting bra is such a problem....and the adding 4 really really wasn't working for me!
